How does microplastics get in the air?

Microplastics are able to fly in the air for 7 days and therefore spread over great distances. Then the micro plastic particles end up on farmland, washed into the seas. This has been going on for decades, so we can already talk about the microplastic cycle in nature. And the number of these particles is increasing all the time.
